Driftwood structure on the beach ~ Discovery Park, Seattle ~ 09.23.07We hiked two miles, mostly down (a BIG) hill, to the lighthouse and two miles back to the car. Every minute, every effort was worth it. It was a beautiful day.

I so enjoy coming here to see your photos. They are soothing to the senses, rich in composition, and they transport me to places that are simultaneously close to home and very far away.
