lost in translation?

Rain hitting the windshield, seems to shift the shape of the scene ~ 10.24.07

You can view a short video here. It was quite interesting (to me) at the time, not sure it translates all that well. Then again, I suppose it all depends on the perspective from which you choose to view it (or something like that).

Water on a windshield does change the view. It struck me how still the leaves were. No movement, no breeze.

You know, some may think it's a bit strange for a Seattle person to find something interesting about rain on a windshield. ;)

To me, your shots show an open heart and a mind for romanticism in the classic sense---like the kind they teach you about in literature classes on Blake and Shelley. You find truth in nature, capture it vividly, and present it with a hint of meaning.

You must have a good camera and a long affinity for capturing the world through a lens. You're dang good at it, but I'm sure you've heard that a bazillion times.

The video reminded of an earlier one you took while driving. I can still hear the windshield wipers.

Ha! Well, since I'm not native to Seattle maybe that little quirk can be overlooked.

I very much appreciate the thoughtful words, Seren.
