6:53am, motion blur on Hwy. 99 -- Seattle, WA -- 10.31.05In my eyes, the best thing about this photo is the motion blur. That's what it's got going for it. They say photography is painting with light ... this kind of image makes it feel that way. Plus, it really hit the mark on my mood that moment.

It's cool how all the light trails trace the same shape. It almost looks like some sort of alien force wave is "wowing" out at you from everything. A future in special effects you have! [Channeling Yoda: off]

Beautiful picture…but I’m wondering what kind of mood that expresses??? looks chemical induced. I see the cars personified as seeing-eye-glass wearing doctors traveling away from the city that’s about to be hit by a big fireball from the sky.

Thanks Nick! You're interpretation is interesting, very interesting in fact. But the way I saw the photo and how it mirrored my mood was in the simple fact it was out of focus. Felt like I was living in a blur.
It's your version of a colorful "Rorschach" test. I hope my interpretation doesn’t render me a psycho.
