Hey Lone, Funny that you said it looks like a painting. My mom and I have been commenting lately about the colors in the sunsets and how when you see them in a painting you think the colors couldn't possibly be real. But they are ... the colors in the sunsets here are sometimes sooo amazing.

I think the best thing about that is that you see them and you're amazed... but somehow, you always forget an re-convince yourself the world is too ordinary for that, and you're amazed all over again.

Insightful comment, I think that speaks to the fast pace at which most of us live now. Finding time to slow down and watch a simple sunset seems too great a feat in the scheme of our daily lives. Things tugging at us from all directions. That and the fact that it gets dark around 4:30 here these days.
