no escape

Sometimes that meaningful something could really be doing nothing at all...I was listening to the Beatles something and the chord progression implied is more powerful then grabbing the the chords and just strumming.

You're absolutely right. Sometimes doing nothing can bring meaning on it's own. Like just laying down in a patch of grass somewhere and watching the clouds go by. Helps clear the mind and allows us to get up and continue to see beauty in our lives.

I was thinking exactly the same thing on my way into work today. There's an awful lot of down time. It feels less like a job and more like charity sometimes. I guess that's why I'm looking around. Funny the quote comes up on the heels of that.

I've read that quote before, and ran across it yesterday. It seems quantity has taken precedence over quality in what's expected of me in the day to day at work. I've been a bit upset about it the past few days. Then I saw the quote again. I'm glad it resonates with you too.

I don't get it... they're looking for a lot of mediocre shots instead of a handful of well-composed and striking shots? Do three ho-hum shots on the front page sell more papers than one eye-catching one?

Not that I'm one who should talk about the meaningfulness in something less...Most of my blogs are 900 words long..lol But I love having your blog pictures to look at when I'm in a "sick of words" moment.
