sailing the sound

A sail dances in the wind as sailboats float on the Puget Sound ~ 01.07.06

The Olympic mountains peek out as sailors cruise the Sound. ~ 01.07.06

Some kind of regatta I suppose was the occasion today. Maybe not a race but a definite gathering of like-minds. It seemed there were more than a hundred sailboats cruising the Sound today, despite the random downpour of rain.
