Pulled in the parking lot at work today and this is what I saw. Maybe not all that spectacular, but something kept me zoned out and only seeing the pattern the rain was making. Thought I'd share a few seconds.

There's a power to it. It's fun to watch, also fun to close your eyes and just listen. How did you manage to store the video to make it available for downloading, incidentally? :)
Heh, by closing your eyes and listening you hear mostly traffic in the background. Little bit of engine revving and tires sloshing through puddles. I actually almost eliminated the audio from that video thinking it might distract. But hey, if you like it ... all the better! : ) I figured you could always mute the sound if it did distract.
As far as making the video available ... I sized it down to be manageable and uploaded it to the Internet Archive. They host for free (at least for now), but your work is available to anyone who has access to the internet. Which is pretty much it's sole purpose for existing. They give you options on licensing so that it can't be used commerically if you don't want it to be, but it's still pretty much out there for anyone to view.
I like the slick sounds of the cars passing. Even without the images, you'd know what you were listening to. And given the cold and the snow around here lately, it's nice to know there's a place in the world where water is still deliciously liquid... to the eye, ear, and otherwise. :)

Yeah, we may have to start building an arc soon. Forecast for the foreseeable future is 'deliciously liquid'. ; )
